The Parent’s Association is run by a group of parents with the intention of raising money for the school and providing the extra resources that the school’s budget could not otherwise afford. The PA funds a school mini-bus, and has provided outdoor table tennis tables, soft furniture for the library, audio-visual and ICT equipment and much more besides.
Your children have a much better experience at Davenant because of the work of the Parents’ Association.
The Parents’ Association run many events each year to raise funds with an emphasis on fun and enjoymen
- We also have other ad hoc events and two Grand Draws one in the autumn and one in the summer.
Please do all you can to support the Parents’ Association by attending events, always buying and returning Grand Draw tickets and where you can offering to help at events.
New members are always welcome to the meetings and are always needed as old members move on as their children grow up and leave the school. Meetings happen roughly once each half term. You can contribute as much or as little time as you can spare.
