Exceptional Performance in 2015 Examinations

Davenant has been awarded special recognition by the highly regarded Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT) for our “exceptional results” in the 2015 examinations. In particular, the GCSE results have shown that the school is in the top 10% of non selective schools nationally for high average grades and in the top 20% nationally for progress made by pupils between their KS2 results at primary school and their KS4 results.

The Chief Executive of SSAT, Sue Williamson, writes: “I hope that the SSAT’s Outcome Awards will highlight the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students at Davenant…..I am delighted to congratulate the school.”

A special awards ceremony is organised at which certificates are presented to the successful schools.
