Year 7 Admissions Open Evening

The school will be open from 6.30-9.00 pm on Thursday 1 October 2015.  Members of the Sixth Form will guide prospective students and their parents round the school premises.  The Headteacher will talk in the School Hall at

6.45 pm and again at 8.00 pm.

During the following week (5-9 October) parents, who could not attend the Open Evening, are welcome to visit the School during the normal working day.  Please telephone school reception if you wish to book a visit.  Tours will be at 9.15 am and 1.45 pm.

NB The Headteacher’s 6.45 pm talk is normally very busy and the Hall doors are closed for safety reasons once capacity has been reached.  Parents are advised to arrive early or take a tour of the school first and attend the 8.00 pm talk.

Car parking at the school is limited with local roads becoming congested. Should you need to park in the surrounding roads please have regard to the access that our neighbours require to their properties. If you are able to walk to the School, car-share or use public transport then please do so.

E-safety Poem and Information for Parents

As we draw to the end of another school year we would like to share this wonderful poem, 'The Technology that Surrounds Us', that was written by a Year 9 student, Eleanor Lee.  It gives us all a lot of food for thought.  Please click here to view .

The E-safety page for parents on our website aims to provide you with up to date information to help keep your children safe in the ever changing world that we live in.  You can access the page from the 'Information' menu by selecting 'Parents' and then 'E-safety' - or click here to view directly.

We would particularly like to draw your attention to the items below (both of which are on the Parent E-safety page):

We hope you find this interesting and informative.
