Students at Davenant raise large sums of money each year for a variety of Charities both locally and internationally. It is part of what we are as a school and what we believe. We have a large number of charities that we raise money for  through different fund raising events.

As a school we have become aware of what is known as Toxic Charity, this is when the act of generosity and giving can have a detrimental effect on those being helped.

We at Davenant aim to work with charities that inspire and build on the passions and capabilities of those in need, help those who need it to use their skills to build a better life for those around them. We also aim to build relationships with the people we support, learning from them so we as a community can be enriched with what they can share.
